Job Title: Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst

Location: Fully Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.)

My client is a leading brokerage firm specializing in providing innovative risk management solutions to specialty lines insurance carriers. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and expertise to their clients, helping them navigate the complexities of catastrophe risk.

As a Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and managing catastrophe risk for their clients, who consist of specialty lines insurance carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth catastrophe risk assessments and analyses using advanced modeling techniques.
  • Develop and maintain catastrophe risk models to support underwriting and risk management decisions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their unique risk profiles and provide tailored risk management solutions.
  • Communicate complex risk analysis results to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Monitor and analyze emerging catastrophe risk trends and provide insights to clients.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients and senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in catastrophe risk analysis or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in catastrophe modeling software (e.g., RMS, AIR, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in a specialty lines insurance carrier is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Engineering, etc.) is preferred.
