Senior Hedging Consultant
A top-tier investment firm is seeking a Portfolio Analytics Associate to join its Portfolio team in Boston. This highly analytical role focuses on financial modeling, portfolio strategy, and investment analytics within a $150B+ AUM platform. This firm provides a startup-like environment with the resources and stability of an established firm. The role offers direct engagement with investment leadership and deal teams, playing a key part in shaping strategic fund initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling - Develop and maintain projection models for the firms funds.
- Portfolio Management & Analytics - Oversee fund liquidity, capital calls, cash flows, and risk factors.
- Fund Structuring & Investor Support - Contribute to financing initiatives, fundraising, and investor reporting.
- Data & Performance Insights - Track asset allocations, returns, and value creation initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with senior leadership, investment teams, and portfolio managers to optimize fund performance.
Qualifications
- 1-4 years of experience in data analytics, risk analytics, portfolio management, or strategic finance.
- Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to build models from scratch.
- Big data expertise and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and VBA (preferred but trainable).
- Finance + Analytics mindset - FP&A, asset management, or investment banking experience is a plus.
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Must be based in Boston or willing to relocate (no visa sponsorship available).
