Lead Data Engineer
Selby Jennings has partnered with a key account on a passive buildout of Data, Software, DevOps, and QA Engineers across their FL and TX offices. These are full-time, direct-hire opportunities in hybrid work models.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management teams to integrate functions and meet goals.
- Identify and implement system enhancements for new products and process improvements.
- Solve high-impact problems by evaluating complex business and system processes.
- Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure designs follow the architecture blueprint.
- Develop coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
- Understand how business areas like architecture and infrastructure work together to achieve goals.
- Analyze issues and create innovative solutions.
- Mentor mid-level developers and analysts, assigning tasks as needed.
- Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and maintaining transparency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
6+ years of experience in App Development or systems analysis - Extensive experience in system analysis and software programming
- Proven track record in managing and implementing successful projects.
- Expertise in at least one area of Applications Development.
- Ability to quickly adjust priorities.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
