Growth Equity Vice President
Position Overview: Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President to lead a growth equity investments in the healthcare and consumer sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private equity or venture capital, with a proven track record of sourcing, executing, and managing successful investments. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with portfolio companies and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in the healthcare and consumer sectors, leveraging industry networks and conducting market research.
- Due Diligence: Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial analysis, market assessment, and competitive landscape evaluation.
- Investment Execution: Structure and negotiate investment terms, coordinate with legal and financial advisors, and oversee the closing process.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor and support portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance and operational expertise to drive growth and value creation.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and co-investors to enhance deal flow and collaboration.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities in the healthcare and consumer sectors.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in growth equity, private equity, venture capital, or investment banking, with a focus on healthcare and consumer sectors.
- Skills: Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills; excellent negotiation and communication abilities; strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
