Job Title: Business Developer
Reports to: Head of China
Purpose of the Role:
The primary objective of this role is to support the firm's expansion in Europe by attracting Asian companies and offering them properties for lease within its portfolio across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Monitoring: Identify potential tenants planning to move or expand their business in Europe, requiring rental properties such as warehouses, offices, light manufacturing facilities, labs, etc.
- Outreach: Actively contact these companies through cold calls or emails, targeting the appropriate decision-makers, and introduce the firm and its portfolio.
- Meetings: Organize introductory meetings with these companies, alongside the Business Development Director for Asia.
- Relationship Management: Maintain good relationships with companies, keeping them informed about the firm's projects and opportunities.
- Collaboration: Maintain intensive contact with business development colleagues in Europe and individual countries, fully understanding ongoing and planned projects, including timelines.
- Presentations: Prepare presentations in cooperation with the HQ Prague marketing team to ensure standardization.
- Head of Terms (HOT): Prepare indicative offers and present them to clients; coordinate further communication between clients and European colleagues for detailed discussions, support client visits to European projects, and potentially join trips to Europe.
- Negotiation: Keep in touch with clients from initial contact through the entire negotiation process, supporting and coordinating discussions to finalize binding lease agreements.
Key Success Factors:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate.
- Bachelor's degree in a real estate-related field is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; proactive.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English.
- Good understanding of industrial property matters and local/wider property markets.
- Collaborative aptitude to work seamlessly with diverse internal teams.
