Chief Financial Officer
Key Responsibilities:
Build & Lead Finance & Accounting Infrastructure:
- Establish and scale the FP&A and accounting functions, ensuring financial controls, reporting, and compliance are best-in-class.
- Develop budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes tailored to a high-growth digital bank.
- Implement robust financial systems, accounting policies, and regulatory reporting frameworks from the ground up.
- Capital Strategy & Fundraising:
- Lead capital-raising efforts, including equity and debt financing, to support the bank's expansion and digital asset initiatives.
- Develop investor relations strategies, working with private equity, venture capital, and institutional investors.
- Optimize balance sheet management, liquidity planning, and funding strategies in alignment with the bank's long-term vision.
Financial Strategy & Digital Asset Expansion:
- Partner with the executive team to drive financial strategies that support digital banking innovation and crypto-related initiatives.
- Navigate the intersection of traditional banking and digital assets, ensuring compliance and risk management in a highly regulated environment.
- Identify and assess new business models, revenue streams, and capital allocation strategies to drive profitability and sustainable growth.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of financial leadership experience in banking, fintech, digital assets, or a high-growth financial institution.
- Experience leading capital raising efforts and working with private equity, venture capital, and institutional investors.
- Strong banking regulatory knowledge, with experience in working with regulatory bodies.
- Prior experience building and scaling finance, accounting, and FP&A functions in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Understanding of digital banking, payments, blockchain, and digital assets is a plus but not required.
- Strategic yet hands-on, capable of rolling up sleeves while operating at an executive level.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills to work with investors, regulators, and internal teams.
