Senior Financial Reporting Accountant
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sr Accountant to join their Financial Reporting team. This role is STAT-focused and requires an individual who can hit the ground running with minimal on boarding. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing STAT schedules and be comfortable managing multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review STAT reporting packages, including Yellow Books and Blue Books.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of reporting packages, working heads down until June to meet deadlines.
- Prepare filings for year-end, work on workbooks, and conduct analysis.
Qualifications:
- 3-4+ years of experience in financial reporting, with a focus on STAT.
- Ability to prepare schedules, pull data, submit drafts, and review/comment on reports.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
