The firm is dedicated to delivering superior investment performance and innovative solutions to its institutional clients. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced fundraiser to join their team and drive growth across key regions.
Position Overview: The Managing Director/Director of Fundraising will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies to attract and retain institutional investors Switzerland. This role requires a deep understanding of the credit and equities markets, strong relationships with institutional investors, and the ability to articulate the firm's value proposition effectively. Knowledge of private markets is extremely key for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet the firm's growth objectives.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with institutional investors in Switzerland.
- Present investment opportunities and strategies to potential investors, highlighting the firm's strengths and performance.
- Collaborate with the investment team to ensure alignment between fundraising efforts and investment strategies.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments.
- Manage the entire fundraising process, from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring a seamless experience for investors.
- Maintain and expand the firm's network of institutional investors through regular engagement and relationship-building activities.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on fundraising progress and market insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising in the credit and equities markets.
- Extensive network of institutional investors in Switzerland.
- Strong understanding of investment strategies, market dynamics, and private markets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- A fundraising track record of at least 7 years, if you have less than this you will not be considered.
