Credit Risk Modeling & Reporting Manager
Location: Dallas, TX

An established financial institution is seeking a highly motivated professional for a full-time Credit Risk Modeling & Reporting Manager role. This position is responsible for tracking key economic trends, enhancing credit performance analytics, and developing intuitive dashboards for data-driven decision-making. The role involves leading the loan loss reserve estimation process, managing quarterly CECL ACL and RULC calculations, and continuously improving automation and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of ACL and RULC modeling governance, including policy and procedural documentation.

  • Execute CECL data collection, assumption assembly, and loss estimation using Moody's Impairment Studio®.

  • Conduct credit risk stress testing and collaborate with financial planning teams to integrate stress test outcomes into enterprise strategy.

  • Assess pro forma loan loss reserves for potential acquisitions and contribute to due diligence efforts.

  • Develop comprehensive reports on loss reserves and portfolio trends, supporting risk management initiatives with performance tracking.

  • Work with financial reporting teams to ensure the accuracy of external performance data.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.

  • 3-8 years of experience in risk quantification, credit risk management, or financial reporting.

  • CPA and/or CFA certification is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience with publicly traded financial institutions and mergers/acquisitions is beneficial.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, VBA, and data reporting tools.

  • Understanding of risk exposure modeling and data mining.
