Compensation: 140-190k base
A leading asset manager in Chicago is looking to bring on a VP, Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing cross-departmental transformation projects.
Ideal candidates have 8+ years of experience in project management or another related field, ideally within the financial services industry. Additionally, the team is ideally looking to bring on someone who is seasoned in overseeing large transformation projects. In this role, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of various business project management initiatives. This role requires an expect level of communication within all levels of the business
Responsibilities:
- Oversee large scale transformation products across numerous business units
- Create in-depth project plans to track tasks, identify dependencies, manage issues, and communicate project status updates to business stakeholders
- Coordinate with PM team members to ensure that projects are on track with all relevant deadlines and schedules
- Prepare project status reports
- Partner with business leadership to ensure that project deliverables meet expectations
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in project management, ideally within the financial services industry
- Strong experience overseeing a team of project managers
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to successfully numerous concurrent large-scale initiatives
- Relevant certifications preferred (PMP)
