Quantitative Developer - Risk
About the Role:
A fast-growing, technology-driven prime brokerage and financing platform is seeking a talented Quantitative Developer to join its Risk & Scenario Engines team. This role blends quant research and software engineering, with a focus on building scalable systems that bring new models and products into production quickly and efficiently.The team plays a central role in shaping the future of institutional trading across both traditional and digital assets, helping to modernize risk infrastructure and accelerate time-to-market for new products.
Requirements:
Develop and productionize risk models and tools used across the trading and risk management stack
Improve and extend research tools such as backtesting frameworks, option pricing models and volatility fitting, and internal and external APIs with customized analytics
Enhance the functionality, scalability, and maintainability of the firm's risk and scenario engines
Work closely with researchers and traders to build robust systems that support dynamic market demands
Your Experience:
Strong experience writing production-grade Python code
Deep understanding of quantitative modeling, especially within risk or derivatives
Background in model development pipelines, from concept to deployment
Experience working with large-scale systems in a fast-paced trading or financial environment
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline
5+ years of experience in quantitative software development, ideally within a trading or asset management firm
Familiarity with option pricing, risk frameworks, or scenario analysis is a strong plus
