About the Role
A leading financial institution is seeking a Manager, Treasury ALM & Analytics to lead risk management efforts and oversee financial market exposures, including interest rate, liquidity, and basis risk. This role offers broad exposure across multiple finance-related entities and reports to the Corporate Treasury Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Liability & Risk Management: Oversee financial risk programs, ensuring alignment with market trends, portfolio risk profiles, and business objectives. Enhance ALM platforms, ensuring data integrity and developing advanced risk analytics such as Earnings at Risk, Economic Value of Equity, and Monte Carlo simulations.
- Liquidity Risk & Cash Flow Modeling: Develop and implement methodologies for funding strategies and liquidity stress testing. Utilize real-time risk modeling tools and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidance.
- Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP): Lead FTP analysis and reporting, refining methodologies and collaborating across business units to optimize pricing frameworks.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Computer Science, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in financial risk management, treasury, or financial modeling
- Proficiency with Empyrean, Bancware, or similar risk management platforms
- Experience in Treasury, ALM, and capital markets
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and technical skills with advanced financial modeling experience
- SQL proficiency and strong skills in Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
- Ability to clearly communicate complex financial concepts to leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA, M.S. Finance, Accounting, or Financial Engineering)
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience
- Proficiency in VBA, Python, or other analytical tools
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting tools
