Indirect Tax Advisory - Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

• Review VAT returns for a specific client portfolio, including management companies, commercial or industrial companies, banks, investment funds, and securitization vehicles, maintaining direct contact with clients and tax authorities.
• Participate in VAT advisory assignments and due diligences.
• Be accompanied and trained by more experienced colleagues, with the opportunity to evolve and become a recognized expert in the field.

Requirements:

• Holds a degree in accounting or economics, preferably with a focus on taxation.
• Has between 2 and 4 years of experience in Indirect Tax Compliance in Luxembourg, with experience in VAT returns preparation and review.
• Possesses knowledge of Luxembourg VAT legislation or European VAT legislation.
• Has strong analytical skills and is comfortable with numbers.
• Is rigorous with attention to detail.
• Has a strong sense of customer service.
• Communicates easily and can work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Is fluent in English and ideally in either French or German too.
