They're looking to bring on an Actuarial Analyst who will have the rare chance to work alongside some of the best in the industry, gaining hands-on experience in statutory and GAAP valuation, financial reporting, asset-liability management (ALM), and more! What You'll Do:
Reinsurance Administration: Manage reinsurance settlement statements and implement new processes for reinsurance transactions. Automate existing workflows to increase efficiency.
Statutory & GAAP Valuation: Use GGY AXIS models to produce and summarize monthly reserves for Fixed/Indexed Annuity products. Support Excel-based valuation and reporting for Life Insurance products.
Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of monthly business reports, including persistence reports and reinsurance settlements, while collaborating with the Financial Technology team to automate processes.
Financial Projections, Profit Modeling & Cash Flow Testing: Utilize AXIS models to assist in creating financial projections and cash flow testing - driving management decisions.
Experience Studies & Asset/Liability Management: Conduct experience studies and support ALM activities, including hedging effectiveness studies.
Actuarial Projects: Be part of cross-functional teams that tackle complex actuarial challenges and projects.
What You'll Need:
A Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
1+ years of experience (internship or professional) in an actuarial or quantitative insurance role.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
The ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
