Our client is an alternative investment firm that provides flexible, long-term financing solutions, and flexible debt and equity capital to venture and growth-stage companies in the life sciences and healthcare industries
They are looking for an Investment Associate to join the team in Boston and New York.
Responsibilities:
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
- Sourcing: Identify and source new investment opportunities within the life sciences and healthcare sectors.
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain detailed financial models to support investment decisions.
- Underwriting: Assist in underwriting deals, ensuring comprehensive evaluation and risk assessment.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in life sciences and/or healthcare investment banking or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in life sciences and/or healthcare sectors.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
