QA Automation Engineer
Summary
Selby Jennings is partnered with a leading fintech in the capital markets space looking to add a Senior QA Automation Engineer to the firm's algorithmic trading platform that supports an investment network of 1000+ financial institutions. Reporting to the QA lead of the group, this hire will play a critical role in developing, enhancing and maintaining my client's internal suite of automated tests and expanding testing coverage to support the diverse trading needs of the firm.
Responsibilities
- Drive new designs and improvements of the automation testing framework. This will included offering insights to inform decisions made regarding automation tools and recommendations on new technologies to implement
- Build and maintain automated pipelines for various testing phases including integration test, performance test, and end-to-end test
- Provide adequate test coverage based on specifications written by development teams including trading algorithms, models and various features used by the trading platform.
Qualifications
BS/BA degree or higher in Computer Science and/or Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience developing manual and automated test suites for trading platforms. Experience with specifically Electronic or Algo trading a huge plus
- 5+ years of experience with developing automation leveraging Python and/or Java
- Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) and Fix Protocol is a plus
- Past experience working with tools such as Git, Jira, Jenkins, Gitlab, SVN
- Strong understanding of domestic and international Equity market structures
Expected Compensation - $180,000 - $200,000 + Cash Bonus
