A top prop. trading firm is looking to bring on a Desktop Systems Engineer to its team.
Responsibilities:
- End User Support: Assisting employees in the Chicago corporate office and exchange floors.
- Device Management: Building, configuring, and upgrading workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Server Maintenance: Troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading desktop managed servers.
- User Provisioning: Managing user accounts, mobile devices, VPN, and directory permissions.
- Conference Room Support: Providing support for conference room technologies.
- Automation: Automating repetitive system administration tasks.
- Technology Evaluation: Recommending new hardware and software technologies or solutions.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of MEMCM/SCCM administration or similar.
- Technical Skills: Application packaging, Windows 10 support, Group Policy management, and PowerShell.
- Attributes: Passion for technology, self-motivation, and project management skills.
- Mobile Device Management: Previous experience in this area.
Nice to Have:
- Intune Management: Experience with Intune.
- OS Support: Previous macOS or Linux support experience.
- Server and Directory Support: Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Scripting: Scripting or low-level programming experience.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $85,000 to $110,000 annually.
