Job Title: Actuarial Analyst
Location: New Jersey, New York, or Boston (Hybrid Model: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
Position Overview: Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst Sr to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) pricing and will be working towards their Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation, with at least 2 exams passed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pricing analyses for various P&C insurance products.
- Develop and maintain actuarial models to support pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with underwriting and product development teams to optimize pricing.
- Perform data analysis and interpret results to inform business decisions.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes impacting P&C pricing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in P&C pricing.
- At least 2 exams passed towards ACAS designation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in actuarial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
