Job Title: Senior P&C Actuary

Job Summary: My world-renonwned client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior P&C Actuary to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex actuarial analyses, developing advanced models, and providing strategic insights to support our organization's financial and risk management objectives.

Key Responsibilities:


Lead the development and implementation of sophisticated actuarial models to assess and manage risk.
Conduct in-depth analyses of financial and statistical data to inform decision-making processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine pricing strategies, reserving methodologies, and capital management plans.
Provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Mentor and train junior actuarial staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging risks, and advancements in actuarial science to drive innovation within the team.

Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or equivalent professional designation.
Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS).
Minimum of 8 years of actuarial experience, with a strong background in health insurance or a related field.
Proven expertise in developing and validating complex actuarial models.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages such as SAS, R, or Python.
Strong leadership abilities and experience managing actuarial projects and teams.
Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and consulting.

Preferred Skills:


Advanced knowledge of healthcare economics and risk adjustment methodologies.
Experience with regulatory filings and compliance in the health insurance industry.
Ability to translate complex actuarial concepts into actionable business insights.
