Lead Application Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve critical production issues during Major Incident calls.
  • Debug systems across diverse environments.
  • Optimize application designs.
  • Oversee monitoring and alerting processes.
  • Adhere to cybersecurity standards.
  • Support Disaster Recovery events and audit requests.
  • Enhance monitoring efficiency through automation.

Required Skills:

  • Distributed Application Support: Expertise in supporting applications across platforms including cloud and mainframe.
  • Unix/Linux/Windows Administration: Experience in managing application deployments and configurations.
  • Database Management: Proficiency in DB2, Oracle, Snowflake.
  • Container Orchestration: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
  • Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with AWS services like S3, EC2, Lambda.
  • Scripting Languages: Bash, Python
  • ETL Tooling: Informatica Datahub/IDQ, Talend
