The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Director of Fundraising to lead fundraising efforts in private credit and hedge fund strategies. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional investors and family offices across Europe. This is a hands-on position requiring an entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a passion for business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead fundraising initiatives for private credit and hedge fund strategies, with a focus on asset-based lending.
- Build and nurture relationships with institutional investors and family offices across Europe.
- Identify new fundraising opportunities and develop tailored strategies to engage potential investors.
- Proactively engage in cold calling, meetings, and follow-ups to secure commitments.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the investment team to align fundraising efforts with company goals.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in fundraising for private credit, hedge funds, or similar financial products.
- Established network of institutional investors and family offices across Europe.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
- High motivation to engage in cold calling and business development activities.
- Strong understanding of asset-based lending and alternative investment strategies.
