In this senior role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, accurate, and timely plan services while fostering strong, consultative relationships with clients. This opportunity blends technical expertise with strategic insight, as you manage complex compliance testing, provide plan design recommendations, and serve as a trusted advisor.

This role offers autonomy and flexibility-you'll manage your workload independently while ensuring deadlines and service standards are met. You'll also be part of a collaborative and knowledgeable team that emphasizes support, shared learning, and professional growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Administer a portfolio of defined contribution retirement plans with full ownership of the annual cycle.

  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance and plan optimization tailored to their organizational needs.

  • Execute and review nondiscrimination and compliance testing, including ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 410(b), 401(a)(4), and 415 limit calculations.

  • Calculate employer contributions using various allocation methods (e.g., pro-rata, integrated, and new comparability).

  • Handle income and contribution calculations for self-employed individuals and business partners.

  • Reconcile plan assets and prepare annual valuation reports.

  • Complete and file all required government forms, including the Form 5500 series and applicable schedules.

  • Act as a senior resource for client inquiries, ensuring timely resolutions and proactive guidance.

  • Provide mentorship and technical support to junior administrators and team members.

What You Bring:

  • 5 years of experience in defined contribution plan administration or retirement plan consulting.

  • In-depth knowledge of IRS and DOL regulations, as well as ERISA compliance requirements.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and complex plans effectively.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on client service.

  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general familiarity with other business software tools.

  • Experience with platforms such as FT William and/or PensionPro is preferred.

  • Knowledge of defined benefit plans is beneficial but not required.
