The Role:
Selby Jennings is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Director to lead the commercial growth of this prestigious publication. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly driven sales professional to take ownership of revenue generation, manage client relationships, and play a pivotal role in the company's expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and grow the commercial sales function, driving revenue across print, digital, and events.
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Build strong, long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders and clients.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, expanding the client base.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative commercial solutions.
Manage and grow a reliable sales pipeline using a consultative sales approach.
Provide insights and market feedback to inform product development and strategy.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in media sales, ideally within financial services, asset management, or alternative credit.
Established network of relevant industry contacts.
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to think strategically and identify growth opportunities.
