Job Summary: As an Executive Director, you will be a pivotal leader in our dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will drive the exploration and analysis of Interest Rate markets, leveraging your expertise to develop and implement sophisticated trading strategies. Your role demands a high degree of responsibility, independence, and leadership, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with a globally distributed team. You will also lead a team of 5+ talented professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting comprehensive analyses of interest rate markets and time-series data to identify patterns and develop actionable strategies within a systematic market-making environment.
  • Rigorously back-testing strategies, evaluating their informational value and performance to ensure robustness.
  • Expanding the team's library of modeling, analytics, and automation tools to support advanced research and trading.
  • Seamlessly integrating successful strategies into the business's market-making workflow, enhancing efficiency and profitability.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of over 5 professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or other quantitative fields.
  • Extensive full-time experience in relevant roles, remaining hands on with leadership/management experience.
  • Strong programming skills in C++/Java or other object-oriented languages, and Python (including statistical and time-series libraries).
  • Deep knowledge of statistics and machine learning.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, adaptability, drive, and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in markets and systematic trading.
  • Ability to understand and map data flows across applications and data sources.
  • Prior experience in Rates markets (cash or swaps).
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing systematic trading strategies.
  • Experience with KDB+/q.
