This forward-thinking company is seeking a Vice President of Product specializing in Annuities, offering you a unique opportunity to shape the future of their product strategy and life cycle management in the U.S.
In this pivotal role, you will manage every aspect of the product life cycle, working hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams like Finance, Actuarial, Planning, Development, and Implementation. A deep background in annuities is essential, as you'll be driving product innovation and ensuring top-tier execution across the board.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the charge in competitive analysis and use your findings to define the product strategy that sets the company apart in the marketplace.
Collaborate across departments-including Actuarial, Technology, Compliance/Legal, Sales, Marketing, and Operations-to ensure seamless product development, execution, and management.
Manage Life and Annuity Products from ideation to inforce management, continuously refining and enhancing products to meet market demands.
Provide thought leadership as you chair the Interest Rate Committee, presenting rate-setting recommendations based on in-depth pricing, investment returns, lapse behavior, and market trends.
Use your expertise to recommend business mix adjustments, including reinsurance strategies and capital management, ensuring optimal performance.
Guide the actuarial team's analysis to guarantee accuracy and alignment with market trends.
Spearhead the implementation of new products and changes to existing products, ensuring compliance and precision in product specifications and pricing.
Ensure the accuracy of marketing materials and illustrations, making sure they reflect the most up-to-date product specifics and rates.
Lead coordination efforts across IT, Operations, and Illustration teams to ensure smooth implementation.
Manage the entire review and sign-off process for critical project stages, ensuring business requirements and testing are spot on.
Provide strategic support for a variety of business-related projects and committees, and respond promptly to ad-hoc requests.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational and in-force product issues, ensuring products remain competitive and functional in the market.
Offer sales organization support, delivering product insights that enable the team to close more business.
Participate in industry research groups to keep the company ahead of emerging trends and market shifts.
Required Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proven track record in project management within the annuities space.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Expert organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in PC applications (Excel, Word, Internet).
A team player with a strong sense of urgency and action-oriented focus.
Ability to excel in a rapidly changing environment, managing multiple initiatives with ease.
A deep understanding of the U.S. annuity market, including product economics and financial management, with specific experience in MYGA and FIA product pricing.
Actuarial experience is required to guide product development and strategy.
10+ years of experience in product management and/or actuarial fields.
