About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Credit Underwriter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for underwriting safe and sound commercial loans, ensuring compliance with our standards and all applicable laws. You will support loan officers by providing advanced credit analysis and managing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite commercial loans, specifically SBA, as well as lines of credit, asset-based lines, CRE, and equipment financing.
- Analyze financial data, assess risks, and prepare credit approval reports.
- Review financial statements, tax returns, and other documents to evaluate borrowers' income.
- Collaborate with loan officers to manage customer relationships and provide credit analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Assist with portfolio management, including monitoring and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
- Exeperince with SBA.
- 4-6 years of experience in commercial credit underwriting.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
