About the Role:
As Financial Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's international growth by managing accounting, financial reporting, and treasury operations. This key position involves close collaboration with the CFO and senior stakeholders to ensure financial integrity and insightful performance analysis. Based in Amsterdam, you'll join a collaborative international team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including month-end and year-end closing, accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (Dutch GAAP / IFRS) and financial regulations.
- Coordinate the annual audit process and prepare financial statements and tax returns.
- Implement and maintain a robust controls framework.
- Provide timely financial reporting and analysis to senior management.
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Continuously improve financial systems and procedures.
- Manage, coach, and develop accounting staff.
- Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and currency risk management.
Your Profile:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3 + years of relevant experience in financial management or senior accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
- Hands-on experience with treasury management and cash flow forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Exact) and advanced Excel skills.
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
- A proactive, hands-on professional eager to contribute to a growing finance team.
