About:
A Real Estate Private Debt shop is looking to add a Director of Investor Relations to help drive capital raising, investor communications, and marketing efforts to their rapidly growing team.
Director of Investor Relations Overview:
As a Director of Investor Relations you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, driving new business, and growing our presence in the real estate private debt market. You will collaborate with our internal teams to craft bespoke financing solutions and provide outstanding service to investors in the real estate sector. Your primary focus will be to identify and cultivate opportunities with financial advisors, institutional investors, and other potential clients who require specialized real estate financing.
Director of Investor Relations Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and acquire new clients by identifying opportunities in the real estate private debt space.
- Develop and maintain relationships with private wealth investors; RIAs, consultants, insurance companies, smaller institutions
- Present and promote the company's real estate private debt offerings, including loan products and structures, to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create customized financing solutions that meet client needs.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, industry regulations, and competitive landscape to position the company effectively.
- Achieve sales and revenue targets through effective outreach and relationship-building strategies.
Director of Investor Relations Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in sales, wholesaling, or business development in real estate finance or private debt markets.
- Proven track record of developing new business and managing client relationships in a sales-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of real estate markets, loan products, and financial structures.
- Ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field (preferred).
