Job Overview
A leading investment firm with $35b+ AUM is seeking a Director of Capital Formation to lead capital raising for the firm's inaguaral real estate debt fund. This individual will play a critical role in expanding the firm's investor base, driving fundraising initiatives, and managing relationships with institutional and private investors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic capital-raising plan to attract institutional investors, family offices, RIAs, and HNWIs.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with LPs, wealth managers, and other capital sources.
Lead fundraising efforts for new real estate debt funds and co-investment opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling investor materials, including presentations, PPMs, and due diligence documentation.
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and investor sentiment to refine fundraising strategies.
Represent the firm at industry conferences, investor meetings, and networking events.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, or private fundraising, preferably within real estate debt, private credit, or alternative investments.
Established network of institutional investors, family offices, and/or wealth managers.
Deep understanding of real estate debt structures, private fund vehicles, and capital markets.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
