A top-tier financial institution is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its Fixed Income technology team. This role plays a key part in optimising CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and ensuring the stability of mission-critical applications. The successful candidate will work closely with developers and quants to enhance deployment processes, support production environments, and drive innovation in trading technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines for C# and Python-based applications.
- Automate infrastructure to improve scalability, stability, and performance.
- Develop and manage source control and build systems (GitLab, TeamCity, Nuget).
- Implement monitoring solutions with Checkmk, Grafana, and other tools.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and deploy long-term fixes.
- What We're Looking For:
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, YAML, Powershell).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build servers, and version control (GitLab, Perforce, TeamCity).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage production environments.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Developers, Quants, and Traders.
Nice to Have:
- Development experience in C# and/or Python.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and server-side software development.
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
- Exposure to containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and workflow automation (Tidal, Airflow, Cron).
- Understanding of networking and system administration fundamentals.
