Role: C++ Software Engineer
Location: Amsterdam
The quantitative trading team is expanding its trading activities and we are looking for a passionate and experienced Software Engineer to help us build, expand and maintain our proprietary trading system.
Our trading and research infrastructure is based on internally developed hardware and is tailored to our current trading needs. Now we want to expand our business and are looking for someone who can use software engineering to increase our trading capacity.
What you are going to do
* Your primary responsibility is to design and develop user-friendly, responsive and visually appealing trading interfaces that streamline the trading process.
* You will work closely with cross-functional teams, to create an intuitive and efficient trading experience, and collaborate with quantitative traders, researchers and developers.
* Your role involves improving existing models and creating new technology to facilitate new strategies using statistical analysis and data mining.
* You will use and contribute to our internally developed libraries and extensive market databases.
What you need
* Proficiency in C++ and Python
* Knowledge of data streaming solutions such as Redis and Kafka
* Experience with (non-)relational databases, back testing frameworks and financial data is a plus.
* An enterprising attitude that takes initiative and can work independently
