VP of Finance

Position Overview: The Vice President of Finance will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of the firm and its portfolio companies. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of private equity finance. The VP of Finance will work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the firm's investment goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the firm's investment objectives. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the financial performance of portfolio companies, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with financial covenants and regulatory requirements.
  • Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities. Evaluate risks and returns to support investment decisions.
  • Deal Structuring: Participate in the structuring and negotiation of investment deals. Collaborate with legal and investment teams to ensure optimal deal terms.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including investors and board members. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, and other key stakeholders. Represent the firm in financial discussions and negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related finance role.
  • Proven track record of managing financial operations and leading teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
