Business Development Senior Associate - Private Equity
Job Overview
A leading private equity firm is seeking a Business Development Senior Associate to join the Investor Relations team. This role will focus on supporting all aspects of investor fundraising, prospecting, and servicing.
Job Responsibilities
* Research, identify and surface potential new investors.
* Effectively communicate product offerings
* Prepare and contribute in presentations to existing clients and potential investors
* Aid in coordinating meetings with existing clients and potential investors
* Assist with updating and maintaining CRM database
* Respond to investor requests including RFPs, presentations and proposals
* Participate in Investment Team meetings and discussions
* Help create collateral materials for fundraising activities
* Attend periodic Investor Calls and annual Investor Meeting
* Research and provide input on current market trends
* Assist with planning of events including logistics, support and execution.
* Interface with the Operations Team on a variety of investor topics
* Willingness to travel
Job Requirements
* At least 5 years of client service/fundraising experience preferably in alternative investments
* Strong interpersonal, networking and relationship-building skills, as well as writing and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
* Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM database management
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or Economics
* CAIA preferred
