VP of Operations
Position Overview: The VP of Operations will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This position requires a dynamic and organized individual who can manage day-to-day operations, support senior management, and contribute to the overall success of the firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a keen understanding of the M&A industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all office operations, including administrative support, facilities management, and vendor relations.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate and support the execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, documentation, and client communication.
- Manage and mentor administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Assist in financial management, including budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Support senior management in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Maintain and enhance office technology and systems to support business operations.
- Organize and coordinate company events, meetings, and client engagements.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the financial services or M&A industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in office software and technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of M&A processes and industry practices is highly desirable.
