Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on payment services, electronic money, and financial regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to payment processing and financial services.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including AML, KYC, and data protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and business initiatives.
- Represent the company in regulatory matters and liaise with regulatory authorities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to provide proactive legal guidance on the German market.
Qualifications:
- Fully qualified lawyer in Germany.
- Strong knowledge and understading of payment systems, electronic money, and financial regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
