Semi Systematic/ Quantamental Analyst | Tier 1 Hedge Fund
We are looking for a Semi systematic/ Event Fundamental Analyst to join our tier 1 Hedge Fund client. This role involves using fundamental and quantitative analysis to create trade ideas. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing knowledge of a sector or industry and financial markets.
- Identifying pricing inefficiencies and working with traders to capitalize on them.
- Turning unstructured data into useful signals.
- Monitoring market trends and macro events.
- Predicting outcomes and making volatility predictions.
- Assessing macroeconomic changes and global geopolitics.
- Quantifying risk-reward scenarios.
- Finding market trends, anomalies, and mispricing opportunities.
- Contributing to trading strategies.
- Engaging in discretionary probabilistic investing.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of financial research experience.
- Experience in fundamental analysis for equities or options or prop trading.
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Proficiency in top-down and bottom-up analysis.
- Coding skills, especially in Python.
- Ability to work independently.
- Curiosity, intuition, integrity, and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with financial derivatives.
- Proven track record of generating alpha.
