Title: Senior Catastrophe Risk Modeler

Position Overview:
A leading global insurance provider is seeking to expand its team with a skilled catastrophe risk analyst. In this role, you, will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of perils, utilizing industry-standard tools such as RMS and AIR. You will be involved in analyzing complex risk scenarios and contributing to the development of effective risk management strategies that help stakeholders make informed decisions. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end process for catastrophe model submissions, coordinating timelines and resources for reinsurance-related projects.
- Oversee and execute catastrophe modeling tasks, including data cleanup, analysis, and running models for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide expertise on catastrophe modeling, ensuring effective communication with clients and model vendors regarding data and results.
- Contribute to risk analysis efforts, stay current on industry developments, and lead presentations at key conferences.
Experience Required:
- 4+ years of experience in catastrophe risk modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, RMS and/or AIR.
- Working reinsurance knowledge.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
