Overview:
Our client is one of the largest banks with offices across the whole region. They are currently looking for a Relationship Manager to join their Global Banking China team covering SOE/POEs.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within China SOEs and POEs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their unique financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of client's businesses, industries, and strategic objectives.
- Proactively identify opportunities to deepen and expand client relationships.
- Assess the creditworthiness of clients, analyze financial statements, and evaluate risk factors.
- Work closely with credit analysts to structure credit facilities and negotiate terms and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and credit risk standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions that meet clients' needs, including debt financing, cash management, trade finance, and treasury services.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as compliance, legal, and operations, to ensure smooth transaction execution and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in corporate banking relationship management
- Proven track record in building and managing successful client relationships.
- Excellent financial analysis, credit assessment, and risk management skills.
- Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is required.
