Your responsibilities will include:
- Independently analyzing and offering feedback on important business decisions.
- Assessing investment decisions, new business ventures, and products to evaluate their robustness and dependencies on input assumptions.
- Identifying key risk factors, including market, reputational, sustainability, operational, and regulatory risks.
- Reviewing valuation models to ensure transparency in project viability.
- Collaborating with various departments such as Legal, Environment, and Finance.
- Drafting decision support documents for executive leadership.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A relevant university degree or equivalent qualification (economics, natural sciences, engineering) or a comparable qualification).
- Excellent knowledge of investment and project evaluation, business administration, and financing.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, such as management consultancy or project management.
- Proficiency in project and asset management.
- M&A experience
- Familiarity with energy markets and the challenges of the district heating business would be advantageous.
