Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pricing strategies and ensuring that our products and services are competitively priced to meet market demands while maximising profitability. As a Pricing Analyst, you will collaborate with various departments to analyse pricing data, perform market research, and implement pricing models that align with the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour to assist in the development of pricing strategies.
- Conduct detailed pricing analysis and produce reports to support pricing decisions.
- Maintain and update pricing models and systems to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategies.
- Monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies and recommend adjustments as needed to optimise revenue and margins.
- Provide pricing reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
- Track and analyse sales performance against pricing strategies to identify potential improvements.
- Assist in the preparation of pricing proposals for new products, services, or customers.
- Review pricing guidelines and adjust according to internal policies and external market conditions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal/regulatory pricing requirements.
- Provide support in contract negotiations by assessing pricing impacts on margins and profitability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pricing Analyst, Financial Analyst, or in a similar analytic role (preferably in a related industry).
- Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, cost structures, and profitability analysis.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data in an understandable way.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
