Job Description: Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced FIG M&A Associate to join their team in Paris. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial institutions, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions. As an Associate, you will play a critical role in the execution of M&A transactions, working closely with senior team members and clients to deliver high-quality advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting financial analysis and modelling to support M&A transactions
- Preparing detailed pitch books, presentations, and other marketing materials
- Performing comprehensive due diligence and industry research
- Assisting in the identification and assessment of potential acquisition targets
- Supporting the negotiation and structuring of transactions
- Collaborating with senior bankers to develop and maintain client relationships
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in FIG M&A within a top-tier investment bank or boutique firm
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and valuation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
