A High-Frequency Trading firm is looking to add to their Crypto Production Engineering team. You will join a team of architects to help build and maintain their infrastructure and tooling that operates within the crypto markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, oversee, and sustain advanced validator infrastructure and tools for a leading proprietary trading firm.
- Engage with cutting-edge software, tackling complex technical challenges in consensus algorithms, distributed systems, and cryptography.
- Manage various on-chain infrastructure components, including validators, light clients, and RPC nodes.
- Enhance monitoring and alerting systems for crypto infrastructure to ensure swift and effective issue resolution.
- Experiment with the latest technologies and stay updated on blockchain ecosystem advancements.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Linux, Kubernetes, monitoring/alerting (Prometheus/Alertmanager), networking, and both cloud and bare-metal infrastructure.
- Experience with orchestration and configuration tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Salt.
- Extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex systems.
- Familiarity with on-chain trading, DeFi, and risk management is a plus.
- Proficient in bash scripting and at least one other programming language, such as Python, Golang, or Rust.
