Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance the execution algo system for corporate bonds, optimizing trading strategies.
- Maintain and improve in-house pricing models, ensuring accuracy and adaptability to client needs.
- Predict market dynamics, including trading volumes and RFQs, to drive actionable insights.
- Develop bond similarity models to enhance trading decisions and optimize strategy.
- Contribute to both research and production, maintaining and deploying Python-based production code.
- Manage static market data, ensuring accuracy throughout the trading day.
Ideal Candidates:
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, etc.)
- 1+ years of experience writing high-quality Python code (familiarity with libraries like numpy, pandas, pyarrow a plus)
- Expertise in time series and control methods
- Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and think critically
- Strong interest in finance, market microstructure, and trading
