Working a fast growing regional bank that is looking to have a Senior ALM Data Analyst to come join their Corporate Treasury department, you'll use your skills in financial data analysis, system development, and data management to help manage the bank's assets and liabilities effectively. You'll also contribute to improving ALM processes. Your main tasks will be:
- Managing data extraction processes from different sources, checking for errors, and reconciling data with the balance sheet.
- Using advanced techniques to analyze financial data related to Asset & Liability management and Funds Transfer Pricing.
- Creating and maintaining data pipelines and controls to support ALM modeling and analysis.
- Finding ways to automate and streamline ALM workflows for better efficiency.
- Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security through robust controls and governance policies.
- Collaborating with model development teams to improve ALM models and methods.
- Validating ALM models to ensure they're reliable, accurate, and compliant with regulations.
Qualifications needed:
- 3-5+ years of experience in financial services analytics.
- Understanding of Asset & Liability Management and Funds Transfer Pricing principles.
- Experience with modeling Assets and Liabilities, including deposit decay and Funds Transfer Pricing.
- Proficiency in programming languages like SAS, Python, and SQL.
- Familiarity with Asset/Liability management software such as Empyrean, QRM, or BancWare.
- Preference for a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification.
