Responsibilities:
Creditor Advisory
- Rapidly assess situations to protect creditors' positions.
- Develop strategies for optimal outcomes in stressed/distressed situations.
- Focus on Hong Kong and Greater China markets.
- Expertise in cash, liquidity, strategy, refinancing, and negotiations.
- Implement solutions quickly through extensive experience.
Debtor Advisory
- Stabilise crisis situations swiftly with management teams.
- Protect positions of companies and investors.
- Deliver optimal outcomes within Hong Kong and PRC regulatory frameworks.
- Hands-on approach to address financial and operational challenges.
- Utilise various levers to support short-term and long-term goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of relevant restructuring/distressed experience; 8+ years preferred.
- University degree with a postgraduate qualification (e.g., HKICPA, CICPA, CFA).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin; Cantonese preferred.
- Essential experience in:
- Cash and working capital management
- Short-term cash flow models and balance sheet restructurings
- Business plans, financial forecasts, and independent business reviews
- Debt restructuring, options analysis, and liquidation analysis
- Schemes of Arrangement and distressed sales
- Experience with Hong Kong Companies Ordinance.
