A prestigious global multi-manager hedge fund with over $20 billion in assets under management is seeking exceptional quantitative researchers/portfolio managers to join their team.
Position: Senior Quantitative Researcher/Sub-PM
Location: New York, or flexible in the US
About the Role: As a senior quantitative research/sub-PM, you will be responsible for researching, developing and managing trading strategies that generate consistent PnL with an expected Sharpe ratio of 2 or higher. Your strategies can range from intraday (minutes) to short-term (weeks) horizons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and implementing of systematic equity trading signals and strategies.
- Develop and refine quantitative models and strategies for alpha generation.
- Monitor and manage portfolio risk and performance.
- Collaborate with trading and research teams to optimize execution and strategy.
- Analyze portfolio performance and provide reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in quantitative equity/equity options portfolio management and systematic trading, and demonstrated/attributable track record of generating PnL with high Sharpe ratio.
- Proficiency in programming (e.g., Python, C++) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
