A prestigious hedge fund with multi-billion dollar assets under management is seeking a talented intraday cash equity quant researcher/trader to join their established systematic portfolio management team in Dubai. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of cutting-edge equity trading strategies within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Continuously develop and refine equity trading strategies to optimize performance.
- Model Implementation: Back test and implement trading models and signals in a live trading environment, ensuring robustness and reliability.
- Data Innovation: Utilize unique data sources to drive innovation and enhance trading strategies.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct thorough statistical analysis to research and refine trading signals, ensuring they are based on solid quantitative foundations.
- End-to-End Strategy Research: Build and research comprehensive intraday cash equity strategies, from inception to execution.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years' experience in a relevant field.
- Educational Background: Advanced training in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or another highly quantitative discipline.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of machine learning, time-series analysis, pattern recognition, or natural language processing (NLP).
- Research Environment: Proven background working in a data-driven research environment, demonstrating the ability to leverage data for strategic insights.
- Analytical Tools: Proficiency with analytical packages and tools, enabling effective data analysis and model development.
