About the Team:
Our team consists of highly motivated and talented professionals who serve a diverse set of clients, including insurance companies, health plans, state and federal agencies, healthcare providers, and employers. With extensive expertise across a variety of business areas, we provide specialized solutions that address our clients' needs. As part of our practice, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues in a supportive and dynamic environment. This is a fully remote position, allowing flexibility to work with colleagues across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis of healthcare data and complex actuarial models
- Write clear and compelling reports that communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
- Supervise and mentor junior actuarial staff, providing guidance on technical aspects of projects
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and actively contribute to business development efforts
- Provide expert insights and solutions on advanced healthcare actuarial topics
Qualifications:
Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field
- FSA designation
- At least 7 years of experience in healthcare actuarial workwith experience in Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Pharmacy, ACA, or VBC
- Advanced proficiency in presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong knowledge of the US healthcare system
- Proficiency with Excel, and experience with SAS, SQL, or R is highly desirable
