Our client is a Leading Global Insurer looking to expand their team! As a Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst in the Property & Casualty (P&C) space, you will play a critical role in evaluating and managing the financial impact of catastrophic events on our portfolio. This position involves utilizing advanced catastrophe modeling software, such as RMS and AIR, to analyze risk exposures and develop strategies to mitigate potential losses. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize catastrophe models to assess risk exposures and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Analyze complex data sets to provide insights on the financial impacts of catastrophic events.
- Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and claims teams to support risk management initiatives.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in catastrophe modeling techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field such as Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- Extensive experience with catastrophe modeling software (RMS, AIR) and data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
