Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex projects within the P&C insurance domain, ensuring successful delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, claims, IT, and finance, to ensure project success.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices.
- Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and post-project reviews.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Insurance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on P&C insurance.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
